They are wireless, and charge with a lightning cable. They will also present as a USB HID when plugged in via USB/lightning, so they can be used with any workstation even without Bluetooth. The version with number pad is my go-to.

Interestingly, the way you pair it with the Mac is to plug it in. When you unplug it is magically paired. It was embarrassing how long it took me to figure this out the first time.
