I think it’s revealing that the founder and operator of WordPress.com openly admits he makes content decisions based on the values of executives at Apple and at credit card companies.

Another way to word this is that he is making a business decisions base on the financial viability of the company.

I doubt many of their employees would fight for those values enough to consider working unpaid for an extended period of time. Would you?




You haven’t (nor has Matt) established that WordPress would be put out of business allowing what Tumblr previously allowed.

Tumblr certainly wasn’t put out of business by Apple or the credit card companies.
