What the OP suggested was that "it is a scam". It clearly isn't, there is nothing in QC that isn't traditional QM which is a 100 year old incredibly well-tested theory. As far as we currently know, it's an engineering problem, not a question of "will it work". If there is evidence to the contrary, I'm sure any journal would be happy to publish it (that would make it to Science or Nature, not a quantum-computing specific journal).
