I also like the font. I just checked and there are two different fonts, the headers use "granville" and the running text uses "brandon-grotesque".

In Hebrew we have "נכנס יין - יצא סוד", loosely translates to "Wine entered - secret came out".

[I hope not to turn this political] Israeli here, as far as I know suicide bombings didn't drop in popularity, they just became much harder to carry out since construction of the fence. Shooting rockets over the fence is just much easier these days...

As suggested, I'd change "Delete it" to just "Delete", might seem minor, but it's less to read and the word "it" doesn't add any information the user didn't already have...

Someone used my email on several children's games websites, and some of them started sending me emails without verifying, so I couldn't even unsubscribe at all because I wasn't the one that registered to that site... At least emailing their support got me out of that mailing list...

Nothing to defend; I think it's hilarious. Although I do think it would make sense to announce HL3 for the Steam Machine on launch day.

If they wanted a launch title that would drag in the biggest market, I reckon Left 4 Dead 3 or Portal 3 would pull in more people (both had large mass media marketing campaigns and are more recent). Or hey, all three ;)
