I love exploring AI-powered apps. They bring me joy and make me feel like a child captivated by a magic spell. However, when I took a step back to reflect on the impact of AI, I began to view it differently, comparing it with the human experience. Wrote just about that.

Every company aspires to build a differentiated product, but only a few succeed. While trying to understand the reason behind this, I noticed a few common ways many companies approach differentiation, and I realised it's tricky.

Wrote just about that.

Not sure if it's a trusted source. Let me link it to the article though.

That's nice. I used to like taking notes on Notion. But one day, I got annoyed when I was not able to quickly search an old note as it was nested under some other note. Took a while for me to realize and make sense of that.

That's great!

Hmm, that's an interesting take, and I agree with all your points. Notion is decent, but it requires some learning curve to begin with. I also feel that the apps that optimize for taking notes in a structured, connected manner compromise on the UX front. There's no one size fits all.

Freshdesk. It's got a clean UI and is easy to use. They also offer a free plan for small teams.

And Freshchat for chat. Even they have a free plan.

If you're in sales or marketing, one classic question you might often encounter is, "Why is your product better than your competition?"

In this post, I've shared my thoughts on how to answer this question and why starting with 'feature differences' isn't a great idea.

Let me know what you think. :)

If you're always able to come up with topics to write on, that itself will become an excellent motivator to write more. Maybe take a step forward and imagine how you'd feel once you publish the post—the exhilarating feeling. Awesome, right?

Initially, I used to think it's not a good idea to blog if you're not saying something new. So I tried hard to come up with topics to write on, and that process consumed most of my time. And I ended up not writing anything at all.

Later I changed the way I thought about blogging.

- Blind posts. What's obvious to you isn't obvious to others. No matter what it is about, keep writing.

- Writing is thinking. It's the best way to become aware of your biases and ignorance. A sure shot way to improve the way you think.

- New knowledge. What was the last thing you searched on the internet? Can you write about that?

Here are a few essays that have helped me get past my 'writing lethargy':

I hope this helps. :)

Thanks mate,

These are all great points, I especially like the "What's obvious to you isn't obvious to others", seems like a great way to write about something is to write about immediately after you learn it, especially if it wasn't obvious before learning it.

Cheers

I meant, blind spots* :)

Hey Frank, first of all, congratulations and good luck with the launch. I understand that this is an announcement page, and I hope I'm allowed to share my feedback.

The landing page reads "Monitor your websites for technical issues"

I feel the headline can be modified to help a prospect understand why they should care.

Something on the lines of "Boost your website performance to deliver an excellent user experience" will help a prospect understand what they can achieve with UptimeMate. (This is just an example)

I think receiving updates on Slack and email is cool. It'd be nice if you could add that to the sub-heading. Something like "UptimeMate instantly notifies you of technical issues on your websites and ensures YOU are the FIRST to know. Receive updates on Slack or email. Use UptimeMate for FREE during our beta, no credit card required."

The screenshots look really good. The value props of the product and customer testimonials are on point. Well done. :)
