The tech hiring market is pretty turbulent now, indeed.
Regarding Europe as a preference, this data is based on users from 120+ countries. For many developers outside of the US, relocation itself might be a goal. I'd say that from the perspective of the user group we surveyed, Canada was ranked even higher than the US for moving to.

Any chance at junior/mid-level positions opening up within HENNGE in the near future? My partner and I both currently speak business level Japanese from our time living in Tokyo, and we both possess about a year and a half of working experience involving Python, SQL, and cloud technologies. Would love to get a chance to grow and learn more as technology professionals, as well as return to Tokyo once again.
Thank you for your inquiry.
My name is Laine from the Engineering Talent Acquisition Team at HENNGE.
I am responding on behalf of Andrew.
Currently, we do not have mid-level positions available for software developers. However, this may change, so we encourage you to regularly check our recruitment website for updates.
We do offer a junior position, which requires an internship of 4 to 6 weeks at our Shibuya office in Tokyo. For more details, please refer to the link below.

I specialize in Vue, and have worked with it for 8 years, almost 9 years now. Worked with Python as well. My wife and I have been wanting to move back to Japan, so this might be the opportunity we've been looking for.
I always wanted to have a website/application like this (with a focus on specialty coffee), but it could be so hard to maintain and reach on a global scale. It might work for some local markets, but it's hard to get traction for such initiatives.
I think the same, but fortunately I don't have the goal of make $$ from my app, I just want to make a community of people that love work from coffee-shops and make networking with others.
If the profit appears on the future, well... It will be welcomed, but is not the principal goal of my project, so, from this perspective, is much more easy build a product like this with this mindset.
Please, tell me more about what features would you appreciate and I promess try to include it into the roadmap.
Not exactly in tech, but some other industries might work pretty well.
I've recently stumbled upon a Supply Chain online course at MIT that takes 1.5 years with really decent content. This is obviously less than getting a traditional bachelor's degree.
Do you know what impact having an MIT MicroMasters certificate has, or if anyone cares about it? I'm not sure just citing its existence really answers the question here. It's nice that there are some pathways to converting it to credits in a full degree though.
Thanks, I'll take a look but a quick glance seems to suggest it's way over my head. I'm designing the app solely for a family member to help with a bespoke part of their business. I'm certainly not focused on generating any revenue from the app itself.
