While I love the editor concepts, but I'm so used to cua bindings that it's difficult to embrace it. May I suggest to add this feature to the extra features list ? https://ergoemacs.github.io/

I did not read the article but I disagree with your statement "we all collectively know that making fuel out of food is dumb and inefficient". Sunflower oil fuel is a very good counter-example : https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/abs/pii/S00218...

Yes, one of the examples I saw is Far Cry. In the 2, there was this nice mechanic of fire that spread from grass to trees to houses. It added a realistic dimension to the game. You think they kept it in the latest Far Cry ? No, of course they prefer to put very beautiful graphics than add/keep interesting mechanics. Also the number of bugs in the first release version of AAA's lately is insane. Signs that editors don't polish their games so they can sell them fast. This is not normal, we don't want mediocre quality for our games.

One of the counter-example is Baldur's Gate 3, this game is polished and oddly, people like it !

Not to diminish the work of the scientists, but I think the relevant part of the article is :

"They found that when the flakes are cooled to 300 millikelvins (about -273 degrees Celsius), the material turns into a superconductor"

And the material is a particular form of graphite.

For me, the grail (I know it's a dream) would be a superconductor that works at ambient temperature and pressure.

I feel like it's unreasonable to dismiss anything short of the literal holy grail of superconductors.

Same feeling here, also I think this is relevant : https://i.imgur.com/WMXCqCk.png

While I'm interested in jj, I never tried it. However I find '[aliases]' in jj config vs '[alias]' in git config more meaningful.

Thanks for the remote-control detail, so basically it's a kind of street fighter arcade game but not virtual. Fun !

Same on Android.
