Am I correct in finding this is only accessible via paying for it, or if you are currently enrolled in school? Or is there someway to gain access to this information without paying?

I believe so. This is just a link to purchase a text book.

that is generally how books work

So what value is there in posting a link to a book? Should I set a bot to trawl Amazon for tech books and post the links here?

I strongly feel that with the more year that I acquire, the less creative I become. I don’t think it’s an age thing that slowed me down, it’s an over abundance of options. The few times I’ve been stuck with just my laptop and a copy of FL studio, the old creative me comes back.

I advise to not invest time into this company. They took me through three rounds and completely ghosted me. I emailed several times and heard nothing. Only when they saw me on the outside did they realize they should probably get back to me.

Reddit survived a long time with absolutely horrendous stability. They still have pretty bad uptime: 99.72 % uptime (web). Their community was very vocal about it, but they continued to grow.

I could even see it helping. When reddit was down everyone lost their shit and there would be posts "where were you during the outage of '21" and "today I actually went outside", etc.. Kinda adds to the hype.

Closed beta. Requesting access requires filling out a four page form. Product page is a bunch of hand-selected images.

Nothing to see here.

You can see it in action here:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BkTXyY9cnEs

and there is a live stream later today here:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c3z9jYtPx-4

Did you bother to browse the entire page? There are videos showing live editing and changing a backdrop. This is a teaser of a live product that is actually working remarkably well.

Can you just view the RAW email body after it's sent?

Why would anyone waste their time creating a profile on this site if no one can find you unless they have a "business subscription".

Allowing only paying businesses to contact you, I ensure that you will be contacted by a high quality firm and neither your or their time is wasted.

You are free to post your profiles on others sites for free too, I'm not stopping you.

How many paying companies do you have?

I just published this today, so 0 right now...

I gave it some thought and made it free.

It's not worthless though, because if it didn't exist - some browser extension would appear the next day which adds a nice little download right next to the play button.

> a nice little download right next to the play button

This is obviously what we would actually want.

But we are talking about Netflix's motivations, not ours. And Netflix does not want this download button.

I'm not.

Buffering delays can be greatly reduced, if not eliminated entirely, by simply sending the whole file but in the past many upstream content providers insisted on limits for the amount of buffering/storage in the client.

Fortunately you can now download entire videos in the app, though they're undoubtedly encumbered by DRM of some sort.

Yea, when I saw these limitations, the first thing I thought of was Tesla. And Tesla makes it very clear with their messaging, when you first pair your phone, something like 'Due to limitations by Apple, you won't be able to participate in group chats.'

It seems obvious to me Apple always wants to keep one critical thing inaccessible for iMessage, to lock people into using their platforms. They'd rather Tesla use car play, that way they can lock the integration down so others (like Windows) can't use the same integration.
