I can barely see the site behind the hugely intrusive adverts on the page. Maybe 30% of the screen real estate is visible on mobile. I don't know how this is usable much less productive.

It generally appears on the first load of the website and should be easily closed using the “⌵” or “Close” buttons. If not, rest assured, I will adjust it through AdSense settings. A quick question for me to understand the problem with ease: It might also be related to your mobile device — are you using a phone with a small screen? Sometimes on smaller screens, it can appear awkward. Thank you for your feedback, and sorry for the inconvenience! If possible, could you send screenshots of the issue to [email protected]? It would help me identify and fix the problem much faster and more accurately.

Good luck with this project. Sincere respect. However, seeing the ad, I immediately closed the site, never to return.

I'm a bit baffled about what interest this would hold for the HN audience. Does it solve unusual technical challenges? Is it open source?

Seems to be no to both questions. Just another commercial site, like many others. No shade, but baffling.

Thank you for your honest feedback and for taking the time to share your experience. I completely understand your reaction, and I’m truly sorry that the ads caused you to leave the site. Your input is invaluable, and I’ll review the ad placement and settings carefully to make the experience better for all users.

I hope you might consider giving the site another try in the future — I’m committed to making it as smooth and enjoyable as possible.

Significant lag just scrolling the homepage. Tried the alert component and the whole page just goes blank. Gave up. Sorry but this is really vibe coded junk.

It's a good quality show, my kid can now read and is looking up plot lines from the show in his science and nature books and really enjoys the idea that so much of the show is actually true to life

Have you had a look at snakemake or nextflow?

No, I haven’t looked into Snakemake or Nextflow yet, but they seem intriguing -amazing, thanks for the suggestion!

Do you remember how snappy it was! im using an i9 with 32gb on win11 right now and there is noticable lag opening paint and notepad, typically 2 seconds.

Some big claims in that readme for a project with no tests :)

Lots of C# repo's here demonstrating unit/integration/acceptance testing within dockerised containers if you need some examples https://github.com/PeterKneale?tab=repositories

Big things have small beginnings.

I think Donald Rumsfeld said something about unknown unknowns.

But, tell me what you want tested and add that to my list.

> Big things have small beginnings

What about humble ones ? You come with a strong « I know best than anyone else » yet your project hasn’t even had 1 day of experience in the « real world ».

> But, tell me what you want tested and add that to my list.

Big numbers, small numbers, positive numbers, negative numbers, positive 0, negative 0, positive infinity, negative infinity, fractional numbers, irrational numbers, latin characters, non latin characters, invalid characters, emojis, dates in the past, dates in the future, dates that don’t exist, the list goes on; really

Lots of very successful software never had those things.

Your accounts ARE the tests!!

Good stuff - Nice simple product

Would be nice to have theme support where you could either choose a palette or upload a custom css :)

Thanks I'm working on that right now actually. Users will be able to add custom css soon!

> Has GFM support. I had to google this, GitHub Flavored Markdown Spec
