Each pixel would represent roughly 16cm^2 using a cylindrical equal-area projection. They would only be square at the equator though (representing less distance E-W and more distance N-S as you move away from the equator).
No projection of a sphere on a rectangle can preserve both direction and area.

Question: do the legit brick manufacturers equal the quality of Lego? I picked up a Lego-compatible set years ago, and it didn't quite fit with Lego blocks (I'm assuming due to poorer tolerances).
I admit I have no knowledge here, but if 100% compatibility is possible, faking the logo doesn't seem like a high bar. If you were buying fake individual bricks (not sets), how would you even know?
the quality is generally equal, but there is more variety i suppose. what you describe sounds like extremely bad quality. if you can share the brand then maybe someone can give more insights.
producing bricks with a LEGO logo is a low bar. selling them is more difficult. you need to sell a lot of them to make it worth it. in order to sell them at scale on bricklink you would need to target a lot of stores. how would you do that without the storeowners knowing? a single store would not sell enough without being noticed.
I would disagree. Quality is a hit-and-miss. I have some cheap chinese manufactured bricks that are far off the lego quality, and some others which have on-par quality and better color consitency.
yes, but it depends on the brand. there are some brands that have reliably good quality, and some that don't. i have been buying various brands in china for 10 years now and the quality was always decent or good.

The author pretty clearly states that Agile works well and we should stick to it without deviating too much with our own processes. Your point was related to the parent post but contradicting the article and didn’t acknowledge the contradiction or why your opinion about Agile might be more correct than the author - that’s basically it.
The industry around it makes total sense - often bloated and misusing terms, but the process itself can work well as a starting point. I get the impression many engineers never attempt it because of bad experiences named Agile sometimes. Understandable of course.
Even you disagree with the author :) But yeah, a team with the power to change its own processes, rather than have Agile imposed on it, isn't a team that's cargo-culting an Agile Brand).
(Last couple of months I've been introduced to "retrospective story points"; we're supposed to fill in how many points the ticket actually took after we've done it. I haven't yet found the words to express how pointless I think this is).
That's the thing... Agile processes do position themselves as a starting point, and suggest that once the team understands it by living it (but not sooner!) they might adapt it and customize it.

That's a good line but it only works if market forces don't commoditize you first. Blithely saying "commoditize your complement" is a bit like saying "draw the rest of the owl."
Free models given away by social media companies (because they want people to generate content) and hardware companies (because they want people to buy GPUs, or whatever replaces them). Can the current subscription models compete with free? It's just a prediction - it could well be wrong.
It might be possible to lash up a cross-plaform solution with KeePassXC. It's got an API that can be accessed from the command line (chezmoi uses it to add secrets to dotfiles). Yes, you'd be authenticating every time you need a token but that might not be too much of a burden if you spend most of your time on a machine with a fingerprint scanner.
otoh I wouldn't do it, because I don't believe I could implement it securely.
