I actually have "face blindness" (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Prosopagnosia )

Got it after a bad car accident, some brain damage. Interestingly it also made me race blind as well - I'm probably one of the few people in the world who can say that! I do identify loved ones from the sound of their voice, though, or if not speaking, I can sometimes tell from how they walk and move. Same thing races, it's not hard to tell if someone's voice sounds black or if they walk like a white guy

How about beautiful vs ugly? What do you actually perceived when you look at a face if you don't mind me asking?

That means no more screwing around with the cassette heads.

> What is the source of your knowledge?

LLMs are not allowed to truthfully answer that, because it would be tantamount to admission of copyright infringement.

100 good sentences and 1 subtly wrong one? That makes for an extraordinary text! I suppose the idea sounded better in the writer's head but it would not be nearly as bad as implied.

As someone who's been on Upwork as a freelancer for 10 years, I'm glad to be ahead of the curve.

Clients can still post job openings where they hire nobody but their hiring stats are visible and I can filter out "0 hires" ones. I can only imagine how much healthier the job market would be if employers had to do the same.

Is Upwork worth it? I tried and even the most basic jobs get like 10+ proposals and filled by someone who will work for $5/hr

Upwork is worth it if you are willing to make it your full-time job in order to make a profile that will catch the eye of high-quality clients.

The basic job proposal spam you described is designed to keep low-quality clients and freelancers engaged and feeding the platform with money.

Contact me over on Reddit (u/SgtBrutalisk) and I will give you some tips on how to start.

There's an AI for everything so why not try this one [1]?

It saddens me to hear so many young people are having such serious health disadvantages. I wish I could do something for them other than post. I think the actual culprit is stress.

I was a stress eater up until late July when I started with strict OMAD/keto. I lost 8kg and reduced waist circumference by 11cm.

You can start by making pariahs out of parents of obese children. They are child abusers, full stop. Do not enable them with your friendship or business, just as you would for anyone you know is beating their kids.

Wow! Congratulations. That's an incredible feat. As someone re-starting this journey, I know it's not easy. Good luck to you :)

Sounds to me like 37signals uses the risk aversion paradigm typical for stagnating businesses — instead of building and refining their strengths they're fixated on mitigating their weaknesses.

The Covid pandemic has taught me that facts don't matter — context is key. Being able to frame global discussions in any way you desire is true power.

ChatGPT knows how to write but doesn't know how to edit.

Writing is an iterative process where the ability to detect and delete the weakest parts is crucial.

Have it output a small essay, then ask it to critique the essay, then fix it based on the critiques. Do that a few times and it'll be fairly improved.

Try it out and see what happens.
