I prototyped a mute/unmute button called M-Button for all virtual calls. M-Button is a small button that plugs into a USB port on your laptop. When tapped, it triggers the M-Button app to mute or unmute yourself in any meeting program. The M-Button app shows a tray icon to indicate if you are muted/unmuted. It mutes and unmutes your microphone at operating system level.

Congratulations! I'm a Clarifai user and have been very happy with their service, API (both Python and Go), and their supports. They recently added customized training feature which I use to train my own model. Keep it up!!!
Like the post. What I did differently is to use fdm to fetch emails and store them locally. I've been using Mutt with Gmail for many years. The features I like most are:
- regex search
- faster actions (like batch delete, mark as read) using tag
- can use my editor to compose. I use emacsclient -nw and it's so easy to copy things from shared buffer.
- very easy to customize, for example, I want to see the timestamp as local time regardless of the sender's timezone, I wrote a smile Go program to do that https://github.com/wujiang/localize_mutt; I also run a cronjob to archive old emails.
`defer` mostly makes sense when there's multiple exit paths (returns) or if there's a chance any of the code panics. Neither is the case in this instance, so just doing it like that is fine. There is also a slight overhead for deferring, as it needs to allocate some memory on the heap
The behavior is different if a panic occurs, isn't it? But is there any chance that this particular initialization code might panic in the first place?
