It could be a good idea to see if they do have ChatGPT and if so, it might be helpful to have the Customized GPT turned on with a note that they suffer from X and if signs are showing of Y, then it should attempt to Z.
That's actually not a bad idea, but there's likely to be ramifications that would kill it.
One issue, is that these types of tools can also be abused. If you remember, the Soviet Union was notorious for getting dissidents committed, and the NSA|CIA also likes to brand leakers as "mentally unstable." It's a common foil. It would probably be fairly easy to "poison the context" like this, for any one of us. Could be a great way to go after folks we don't like.
Mental health treatment is a very complex (and fairly primitive) field.
Who's more mentally unfit? The person who's afraid that everyone is out to get them, or the person who thinks others should be locked permanently into a hellhole, on the off chance they could inconvenience them?
I'll lay odds that a bunch of folks on this very forum, are ones that would, at one time, have spent their lives in said hellhole. I'm one.
Paul knows that. He is arguing for a different future. google is about to remove my ability to remotely control my thermostat. Not even local control. Imagine a world where they would have to choose between continued device support or unlocking… or maybe just building out the local control and cleaning their hands of it. Having corpos as the arbiter of a consumers buying schedule and creating unnecessary easter is pretty undesirable.
If the system is that I have to prove my id or age for averag network connections, then the system has already failed me. The only system I am behind is a flag that some devices can send if enabled that lets the receiving party know the user is underage. Completely optional (controllable by device owner/guardian) but if received, that party must behave in a way that acknowledges that fact. It is not a perfect system, but it retains the freedoms and anonymity of the user.
Then i’d like to inform you that I know the same number that you know plus one that think otherwise. You use these professionals in your comment to highlight how mainstreams your views are but will not provide any information. I stated I was open to researching this train of thought more, but you are not interested in helping people understand your point of view. Surely there is a site on the internet that shares your worldview. Please share a name of a community that you feel consists of users that are aligned with your believe structure.
Yes I know, but when I create and/or launch a software project I don't start with "1.0.7" if I'm being _semantic_. It's like a major version AND a patch already? It doesn't track.
> Because the most significant evidence we have lately is that in-person meetings or dead drops and other low tech means are how you avoid being tracked.
How many cameras did you just go by? did you have your cell phone on you? how many networks did it connect too? how many bluetooth broadcasts did it passively send out? Not being tracked and being in public are slowly becoming an untenable duo.
