more easy how?

> What if i'm handing it to a friend/spouse to play to beat my time?

then that works better with his suggestion for a timer rather than a countdown

you could retain a challenge aspect by showing average time to solve (or your result compared to others; “You did better than 94% of people!” etc)

Why not

This probably depends on the questions.

When applying for a college math professor job, it's understandable that you'll use mathematica/matlab/whatever for most of actual work, but needing a calculator for simple mutliplication-table style calculations would be a red flag. Especially if there is lecturing involved.

I thought it was about Memento the short story

(edit) As it's now 4pm UTC I'd recommend https://utc.httpclock.com

Although Central European Time (https://cet.httpclock.com) will be valid too, as well as a few other time zones (for maximum coverage it uses 12 hour time format)

And yes I understand an empty response the majority of the time is perhaps a little confusing, and from the logs it looks as if most visitors are receiving such a response, so while I wished to keep it as "pure" as possible I probably should add a simple "about" page.

There’s much that is lost but imo gpt-4-base would be borderline unusable for most of us compared to its descendants — perhaps even more so than GPT-3 davinci, at least relative to its time.

4 can be an absolute demonic hallucinating machine.

iOS voice dictation?

Yea. But it’s mostly good except for the commas

Haha, no I agree, but it was immediately, recognizable :)

With pauses to keep his BP low.

I “rented” a movie on Apple TV last night. I’m quite confident I won’t be paying again in 30 days :)

That is good reason to not use "rent" because it is already used in industry for short fixed-term rental.

The button should say rent: 1 day or 7 days or “until we choose to no longer give you access”.

It should say "rent product and purchase accompanying one-time and recurring services".

Isn’t that illegal, for elected representatives?

Was this in person or do you have a link by any chance? Would love to see it.

From my own experience XML tags are incredibly powerful — particularly for very large system prompts, with some markdown in there too.
