I'm noticing a lot of very positive stories bout Snapchat (WIRED --- Snap’s IPO Made Its Employees Millionaires—Why Not DJ Khaled?, CNBNC --- Here are all the ways Facebook has copied Snapchat). What's going on here? Is Snapchat using PR firms to prop up the stock after the analysts downgraded the stock earlier this week?
It might be a submarine or PR firm action, but it might also simply be that they're a billion dollar company that just had an IPO, so articles about them are simply timely.
I don't really put much merit into journalists saying something is good or bad. shrug
same here -- I've downloaded and have been using it ever since. It is very similar to Lark, the chatbat as a personal weight loss coach. I really like the general "nudge" approach that both apps are taking.
Very true --- and "the rabbis with the Conservative movement" are really a small minority compared to the Orthodox strands (Modern Orthodox, Haredi, Religious-Zionist, etc.)
Whether or not this particular attack happened with unencrypted vs. encrypted communications is irrelevant. I'm sure if we look at terror suspects and attacks in the past year across the world --- some of them used unencrypted means to communicate and others that use encrypted means to communicate. 99.999% of people aren't terror suspects. The real question is the following: how do we fight against the remainder without comprising our values?
I've worked in both residential and commercial real estate a couple years back, and I agree. The software that people use on a daily basis truly sucks.
Most definitely. What you think is the biggest problem that is worth chasing. I don't want to create a full suite of products, but something that targets a small niche to start.
