If you do a lot of typing they are definitely worth it. I have bought two with quite clicky blue switches and I love them. They are quite noisy but I don't share an office so it doesn't really matter. One is Cherry brand but I can't remember the other one. They are both Windows layouts but I believe that at least one company is now doing Mac layouts.

No longer own it but had one for a while in the 80s. Best games were probably Jet Set Willy, Jet Pac, Laser Squad and Batman (isometric adventure). I also tried to write BASIC programmes on it - it had the weirdest text entry system where a single key press would input a whole key word, with shift keys to change the word or something. Combined with the sticky rubber keys I am amazed any games ever got written!

I've enjoyed having children but they are extremely hard work and you need to accept that their needs take priority over your own. Very few people are able to maintain any significant hobbies or social life, at least when the children are young. There will be some extremely tough times - up all night, illnesses, tantrums etc. and sometimes you just need to grit your teeth and get through it. At other times you will experience love and joy which is unlike anything else you have felt before.

What about photography? Lots of people are (re)discovering the fun of analogue/film photography now and there are plenty of usable cameras on ebay. It gets you out of the house and there are often relevant clubs where you can make friends.

Mirrorless is undoubtedly the future of serious photography but I don't think the systems are quite there yet. If you want a full system of lenses today a Canon or Nikon full frame DSLR is your best bet. There are lots of online resources to learn photography e.g. Ken Rockwell's website. I think the best advice is to shoot things that you are genuinely interested in - e.g. I love portraits and landscapes but have no interest in macro photography of bugs or flowers.

Either will take pretty good photos I would always get the newest model. If you are that serious about photography you will ultimately want a dedicated camera anyway. The quality of your photos is going to be determined much more by other factors e.g. composition, lighting, perspective etc. than which particular model of camera or phone you shot it on.

Hi Lia I'm a consultant radiologist and clinical lecturer in Dundee, Scotland and have an interest in this type of thing although not published anything yet. Your work looks interesting and I would be happy to supply a letter stating that although I'm no expert in this field so not sure how much weight it would carry. You can email me at [email protected]

Tethered cord is a recognised cause of scoliosis and we check for it on all MR scans of this region. I'm not aware of it causing some of the other things you list in your post. Where are you based? If you are able to see a reputable neurosurgeon in any first world city locally I would be tempted to just take their advice.

Thank you for answer. They (insitute in Barcelona) differs "Tethered cord" disease and "tension of filum terminale". They created the new name "Filum Disease" which includes chiari, scoliosys, etc. The link https://institutchiaribcn.com/en/diseases-we-treat/filum-dis...

They insist that the reason of, for example, scoliosis is namely "tension of filum terminale", _not_ tethered cord.

I am from Russia. I met with the best doctors (neurologists, neurosurgeons) specialized on Chiari 1, Syrongomieliya. Much of them does not belive in Barcelona method. But several сautiously say that sometimes the method can help - one our doctor reports reduction of cyst of syringomyelia.

Unfortunately, the community of doctors is not so open for public debates and exchange of the experience as for ex. IT :) The changes in treatment methods are so slow (. Mistrust to each other stops progress in the studying of these diseases.

This is why I always dress like Flavor Flav.
