Exactly. As long as this isn’t enforced by laws, it won’t happen. And then there are administrations that get away with just ignoring the law.

Yes, exactly, which is why counting laws as a part of the incentive mechanism is wrong to do. "They won't do that because they don't want to break the law." Laws are impossible to perfectly enforce and States are changeling things. Communities should create more dependable guarantees.

Only goes to show how the U.S. are becoming more like Russia by the day.

Now that is how LLM assistance for coding can be useful. Would be interesting to know which set of tools was used exactly. How might one reproduce this kind of assistance for other code bases?

See Joshua's post for details: https://joshua.hu/llm-engineer-review-sast-security-ai-tools...

Tools included ZeroPath, Corgea and Almanax.

Just in case anyone was still in denial about Meta merely being facebook by another name. Everyone knows facebook is an ad company and as mercenary as they come. What was that renaming good for when they’re constantly reminding everyone that they haven’t changed one bit?

Politics begins as soon as there is more than one person involved. As much as I want to avoid it, I just can’t. And if I have to do it anyway, I might just as well give it my best shot.

> Who pays for AI and how?

The same way the rest of webshit is paid for: ads. And ads embedded in LLM output will be impervious to ad blockers.

This must be one of those rare cases where a tax actually gets abolished. That happens almost never, regardless of country.

There can be no doubt any more that Science (the kind that has an actual impact) in the U.S. is dead. If you want to stay a scientist, you have no choice but to emigrate.

It’s transparently corrupt, anti-science and totalitarian. They take every opportunity to make all of this abundantly clear.

I’d assume it would just fall under psychopathy.
