If we are computing machines, how do we know when to "stop" thinking of one thing and try another avenue? What shakes us from our daydream reverie?

Maybe there is a similar mechanism when we wake from nightmares. A mode that triggers the conscious boot cycle.

If retirement is in a general "retire at some age" fund and not individual stocks, is there a law that all stockholders in that class have the same allocations?

Target date funds are no different than any other fund. The fund holds a given allocation; shareholders of the fund hold shares of the fund overall. There's no concept of individual fund participants having different allocations.

If you and I are in the same class of the same fund we would have the same allocation. However if you are in Vanguard Retirement 2050 and I am in Fidelity Retirement 2050 we likely would not. Also possibly if I am in the Admiral Class shares of Retirement 2050 and you are in the Retail Class.

Go-To Market (GTM)

How do you hack on biology in the same time as computers? Primitives you cannot see, no rollbacks, expensive instruments. Iterative cycles measured in months, if not years. An accumulation of specialization transmitted either by the polished paragraphs and tables of a published paper or (not) as tribal knowledge for only the folks who were there.

Being the user of the real is motivating for sure, but one cannot stay in that context forever. In some cases, one may not survive the cure.

Tough stuff. If we could mechanize some aspects of research, sure: automate the manual things, stand up data pipelines, improve the boring bits. All that is in the lab, though.

Possibly, there is no virtualizing the plastic tube.

Classic ASP (Active Server Pages), and take it to the web.

> GitHub Wiki Search Engine Enablement (GHWSEE) allows non-indexed GitHub Wikis to be indexed by search engines.

> If you are a GitHub Wiki maintainer, you may want to consider GitHub Pages backed by a public repository for your community's content as a more crawlable, stable, blessed, and probably higher search ranking alternative.

Work-life balance (WLB)

Seems like governance is a corporate force that gives us meaning. Maybe we will find projects so large reflecting a hierarchy of accounts are themselves organisms that cannot but survive.

Distributed repositories enable any contributor to supply infra, although that comes with its own challenges. Huge time sink to maintain that, per person, constantly.

Losing access because of centralized management is not one of them, though.

There is the chemistry of substances and the chemistry (dynamics) of particles: diffusion, density, and volume. How just having them at some concentration participates in existing mechanisms.

If nanoplastics can help model inflammation of nanoparticles in general, stuff like graphene can also be more closely scrutinized. As well, not to overlook the combined effects of different nanoparticles in situ: adhesion, statics, or disintegrating.

Technology in wearables may advance to sprays: air becomes this composite mixture of synthetics, all just circulating around.
