Don't forget to subtract CO2 for all the goods/services we export. It's only fair if you count imports!

One great problem it solves is namespacing all of your styles. I don't have to worry about classname collisions because the bundle handles it all for me. Instead of having one massive global stylesheet, I have a bunch of small, modular stylesheets that fit entirely on my display without scrolling, and I can reason about the output much easier than before.

You're talking about css modules. It's a different feature.

Plus effortless code splitting.

> Stocks have price appreciation typically due to higher current and projected earnings

Yes, projected earnings. Speculation. Just like cryptocurrencies.

Yes, because corporate policies are the best picture of the current state of American culture.

The only flaw I see in your analysis is that you seem to believe Europe is better off in any way. Feudalism is making a resurgence all over the west.

Backend software developers and a superiority complex

In the US we just call this a powerline adaptor

I don't think communities would put up with foreign ownership of local land where said owner literally never sets foot in a 1000 mile radius of the land they "own." Even following your argument, this type of land ownership (pure speculation) would likely cease to exist.

> I have tinnitus at ~30 because of loud poor-thermal expensive work laptops.

I'm sorry, but I just cant bring myself to believe this statement. There's no way a computer fan can get loud enough to cause hearing damage.

How loud does a computer fan get when running at 100% fan, with a high pitch almost like a drill, in your experience?

I've just tested with a sound meter app on my phone; granted this isn't the most accurate way of doing it.

Silent in my room: 30db

Fan on while running and GPU is activated: max 90db.

I wish a computer manufacturer could guarantee what you're saying, because I could get a letter from my ENT doctor, take precise measurement; and sue the manufacturers for damaging my hearing.

Your computer fan is as loud as a lawn mower? You can't have a conversation in your room while your fan is running? What?

I have tinnitus as a result of running a 20" fan near my bed during one summer nine years ago.

that’s scary. sorry to hear that.

how close was it to your head? what kind of fan?

Seems like only one step is necessary

1. Strap in seatbelt behind you

2. Start autopilot

3. Remove yourself from the driver seat, into the passenger seat

And now the car is in autopilot with no driver.

TBH Tesla should be doing more about this, it's too easy.
