There are some more visits from the top here, but only Bloomberg has any real recruiting events... I think google and Facebook appear sometimes but more to give talks and in smaller/tucked away areas. It’s quite hard to get seen by anyone.

I would think one benefit of hiring there (vs say CUNY) is it isn't hard to convince people to move.
