All of that said, if Google had to pivot by rewriting android in, say, Go, that could be extremely good for the Android ecosystem.



Given that Oracle is claiming copyright on the public API, they can't do that without also removing support for literally the entire app store. It doesn't matter if it's in Go or Java.


Yeah, that's the exciting part :D


They have the resources to do it. I really wish they would so we can leave this matter behind us.
