We're a rapidly-growing biotech company that develops software, hardware, and chemistry that enable researchers to study diseases such as cancer and Alzheimer's at an unprecedented resolution. We went public last year as the largest healthcare IPO of 2019 (ticker: TXG). We recently acquired two companies, ReadCoor and CartaNA, who have both been commercializing in situ analysis. This opens up a number of interesting product and technical challenges that I'm personally very excited about!
Software is an integral part of the 10x Genomics product. We create software that generates and analyzes data for scientists to explore. We utilize Go, React, Typescript, and Electron to create intuitive visualization and web applications. Our data pipelines are primarily written using Numpy/Scipy/Pandas stack, but we're making increasing use of Rust.

I'm not a coder but I have managed software engineers in the past and done UI/UX design and user research/testing, customer support, technical writing, etc...
I've been a non-technical cofounder for multiple startups and co-founded two non-profit makerspaces. I currently live in Florida and would like to work remote for a dynamic and fast growing company.
