From what I'm reading here, does this mean the vent above the stove should be on all the time while cooking?

I will often turn on our vent, but it's certainly not something I'm doing every time I turn on the stove..



Personally, after reading this, I think I'm going to keep the vent on whenever we cook with gas. I was already aware that C02 goes up significantly when our gas burners are on (I have an Awair unit in the kitchen).
