When I saw the title, I though it would be someone with a pile of atari and nintendo game consoles.

Instead, it was awesome.

I will not lie - I've considered putting in a 19" rack next to my computer to organize power/network/peripheral stuff once and for all, but I thought it was too extreme. Maybe it's just fine :)

Desktop rack mounts are pretty common for A/V and music producers nowadays; they use the same 19" mounting standards as servers and what-not

Here's an integrated example: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qVsEbOc4Jt4&t=2m05s

And some options that don't require a modified desk:

Depending on your needs, you could make one from an ikea lack coffee table [0].

Lots of cheap options help I've got a small 12U under a desk and its been great for organizing it all.

Steven Roberts is amazing. I highly recommend checking out his old presentations on youtube about his bike adventures, it's super interesting and fun.

“The wheels are solar powered too because I’m part of the food chain.” Haha, I like this guy. Only 400+ subscribers currently. Great find.

Nice to see Steven Roberts on the front page!
