Desktop rack mounts are pretty common for A/V and music producers nowadays; they use the same 19" mounting standards as servers and what-not

Lots of cheap options help I've got a small 12U under a desk and its been great for organizing it all.

Steven Roberts is amazing. I highly recommend checking out his old presentations on youtube about his bike adventures, it's super interesting and fun.
