I wonder how hard it is going to be for employers to accommodate those who seek to be private. Specifically, I was going to switch from using an iPhone to a phone running Graphene OS but I must have a few apps (Okta Verify, Duo Mobile, Splunk On Call, MS Outlook, MS Teams) which aren't available via F-Droid. And this is separate from the HR bribery of adding fitness trackers to your device that give your medical insurance company a 24/7 fix on your location in order to verify you're doing the walking you say you are in order to get the HSA bribery dollars being waved about.

Ask for a corporate device. Turn it off at 5pm, don't use it for your own personal use, put it in a Faraday cage and soundproof case if you're being paranoid.

Maybe you own a Nokia 3310 for what your corporate overlord knows.

Carissa Veliz is the best author when it comes to privacy, IMO. Brilliant article and brilliant book!
