Unfortunately biophysics has turned out to be a field that largely does not interest either physicists or biologists. They’ve found some interesting results but this sub fields hey day is probably behind it.


Anyone interested in this subject material might find Geoffrey West's work including his recent book Scale and many video lectures on YouTube to be interesting and a bit more precise also.


I second that. Scale is phenomenal book that is very accessible to curious reader.


Comes to mind polar functions who represent animals or plants...
