Not same situation though. Apple has a dominant position in smartphones in the US. There is not a dominant virtual world yet? Meta is one of several still relatively fledgling options.

It’s about the blatant hypocrisy of attacking Apple for its 30% fee not that long ago and now they want to charge 50%.
