A 21st Century Software Ethics Manifesto :facing unbridled realities brought about by software

Preface

I am, more often than not, prone to withholding my work from the public’s view until a refined, complete end-product has been arrived at. However, the issues addressed by this manifesto have a level of urgency, such that it made sense to relax in my commitment to this rule with regard to completeness even though I hope and believe that I have paid sufficient attention to its accuracy. Given the ticking of the clock on many of the problems that humans face, I felt compelled in this instance to deliver a document into the hands of readers as soon as I could. By my calculation, 2022 was the time, ready or not, polished or not, to pull the trigger on getting this thing out.

I read the first two pages and still had no idea what this was supposed to be about, so I stopped reading it. Needs an abstract at the top to get me to commit to 78 pages.

Thanks for the input. Google docs gave a nice outline but the exported .pdf doesn't provide that. I'll work on this
