While I don't agree with Fred Wilson's thoughts on Twitter I posted this because I do feel his opinion is important. For those too young to remember his firm was the first to invest in Twitter and he was on the board for a number of years.
I tend to agree with Fred's view that this litigation will likely end with a settlement north of $1bn for Elon to walk away. Twitter BOD doesn't actually want to force Elon to buy TWTR, but has a fiduciary obligation to do so. That said, Elon is playing multidimensional chess if this TWTR bid was just a pretext to unload $8.5bn worth of Tesla stock.
