They are right. After using for 3 years a work laptop with "Intel i5 inside" i decided to do "a rapid decline in economic activity" and switch to an AMD Ryzen one. I got sick of the thing using only one core fully because of thermal throttling and of the heat it generated which made my hands on the keyboard unconfortable. The AMD (same laptop family) is better and faster with even longer battery life. Intel is since about 20 years a marleting company. They have good products if you are ready to pay premium. If not, they are the worse.


They have joined the ranks of GM and Boeing...revenue from Congress not from sales

The CHIPS Act was an Apple-level windfall for Intel...
