I wonder how’s many of these jobs are second jobs. Because a growing number of second jobs being necessary to make ends meet would be a hidden problem if your modelling is based on total job numbers and until the job total started to exceed the total population by a significant margin you wouldn’t notice it… and the obvious question is if this would be too late to change tactics given that second jobs indicate that the economy is still strained by inflation, with the cumulative pressures driving people to need extra income.
