Personally I think this is for the best. Maybe tech and laws can catch up some day but until then it is better to have "bullshit" restrictions than have real people get hurt and at scale too.
Because those are not publicly shared where nonconsensual stuff is profitable and uniquely damaging with no inherent need for sharing them. The keyword is share. Less people get hurt and some people get less porn, what am i missing?
