Old news, but I found the dialogue with the folks from Toptal quite fascinating. They seem totally clueless as to how to acquire and integrate in a tasteful way. They simply purchases, shuttered the original domain and redirected to an ugly url, and slapped an obnoxious "apply as a freelancer" at the top. Then offered lip service in the form of "we love the OSS community."

Anyhow, thought it was interesting to see just how classless and clueless Toptal is.
