Yandex mail is better and it allows custom domain for free.

A lot of place also block it due to Yandex being full of spam accounts, even on custom domains. Not sure I'd ever trust something from them and would actively block their services.

It offers IMAP and POP, which the Zoho free plan dropped some time back.

Their inbound spam filtering may also be better, given that they have more volume than Zoho to train on.

Yeah, but:

a) a lot of places block Russia and China wholesale against spam

b) they'e hosted in a genocidal regime without rule of law completely beholden to a dictator's whims.

What do you trust? Reuters? The UN? Russia? I don't believe you're actually open to the idea. Prove me / us wrong by saying what it'll take to change your mind, or by saying you're not open to anything.
