It exists, sure. But it basically needs to undo the damage done in the original guix repos and can't even be discussed in the upstream project. (https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=29286715) If some compatibility is broken, guix won't care.

I don't want to use a project which is actively hostile to what I'm trying to do, even if there are workarounds. It just doesn't seem like a good idea long-term.
