Efforts to block sunlight get boost from prominent scientists (eenews.net)

I think the stellar sun authorities need to do a better job.

Since aeons we are not getting a regular amount of sunlight. Some centuries it's too cold, now way too warm.

What are these people getting paid for?!

how about setting up a facility on the pole of Mercury to eject a stream of sand sized particles into inner solar orbit. The sun could use a little debris disk.

Send a factory to a carbonaceous asteroid that builds a factory that builds a larger factory that makes plastic films, coats them with metal and has them fly back to the Earth-Sun L1 point as solar sails.

I can't decide if it makes sense to deal with the problems of sending people that far or deal with the problems of doing it all through remote control with some people living at some place like Earth-Moon L1 who have a replica of the system that they can do experiments on.

I guess that's another idea.

I think in the next ten years any manned facilities farther than the moon are less likely.
