Would be nice if some company started making window heat pumps that are more efficient and do heating as well as cooling to replace window air conditioners. I've read of one company that makes them but they never seem to be available in the US. It would be a great way to start transitioning heating to electric with greater efficiency. Instead of buying an air conditioner for cooling people could buy a window heat pump and get more efficient cooling and replace some of their winter heating with efficient electric heat.
