Well, shit. Depending on how many Russian soldiers have iPhones, could amount to a major loss of intel for Ukraine.


I am pretty sure the US has multiple avenues for intelligence regarding Russian troop movements and probably doesn't rely a lot on compromising individual soldiers phones.
