I have been running a 5 stage RO and DI unit for 20 years for my drinking water and aquarium water. It costs about 200 upfront and about 60 a year in media. Very cheap and easy for clean water. Pair it up with a 5lb co2 tank and you have infinite fizzy water as well. Highly recommend. Solve it at the end point.
