They specifically mention 3 distinct DP connectors - standard, mini, USB-C - plus a bunch of Apple versions of them. That's NOT a feature and is exactly why I prefer HDMI. I don't care about most DP capabilities, I just want to plug in my stuff and have it work. I use 55" 4k TV for a monitor and it works, even with the open source AMD driver. I saw nothing in TFA to make me think DP would benefit me, even if some technical details are better.
