This article is brilliant actually and really brings home just how crazy this year has been and still is.
In Italy this year it's crazy, the summer was ridiculous, especially down south of course. It gets hot usually but never that hot for that long.
This "Autumn" has been even more bizarre with the temperatures going down but so slowly that it still doesn't feel like autumn at all.
I swear anyone who denies climate change is just living in a basement their entire lives. What's more infuriating is when politicians who have access to all the data and experts to explain it still persist to screw over all future generations.

The entire website is fantastic. I've been subscribed to their RSS feed for several months now, it has quickly become a favorite in my feed reader. Science-based, in-depth weather nerdery without clickbait/sensationalism.
I find basically all of their content unreadable end-to-end, though. The articles seem to lack structure and often it feels as though they were just spat out via LLM.
