> Dr. Rajendra Badve, a senior cancer surgeon at Tata Memorial Hospital, stated that the tablet has been tested on rats for its effect on side effects and prevention, with promising results. However, human trials are yet to be completed, which could take about five years. The tablet is awaiting approval from the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) and is expected to be available in the market by June-July.
I'm quite confused by that. It says human trials will take about five years to complete, but that the tablet is expected to be in the market by June-July.
I would expect that approval for marketing for human use would not be approved until after human trials complete. Is that not the case in India? Or are they talking about some other market, say for use in animals?
It's probably hot air. The mechanism described in the post is not exactly likely to do what is claimed.
Maybe it might work for a particular kind of stomach cancer.
It can be sold because it's a flavone and copper supplement meaning both pieces are known separately and are already sold.
High dose resveratrol is not exactly inert though - it has drug interactions.

???
Human trials have not been done. That makes this a non story story.
After reading this thing, first thing I did was laugh. Second thing I did was thinking maybe they wanted me to laugh. Third thing I did was laugh at myself for being such a paranoid idiot.
