Company accidentally increased productivity by laying off 20% middle management (theolognion.com)

This almost hits too close to home to be funny. Most middle management I have encountered would crawl over broken glass to avoid doing something productive.

How does this effect scale? Could they 10X their original productivity by laying off an additional 22.222% of their original middle management? ( since 3 x 3.333 = 10 )

This reads like a fake ai created story

They aren't trying to hide it. The very first word in the story is "Fagooglix."

If you're not familiar, the style definitely predates "AI" -
