Maybe there's a shred of humanity left in there after all, but I still don't trust them.

Notice what they said there. They didn't say "oh, our bad, this was a dubious legal argument that we shouldn't have made."

What they said was "because this is making us look bad, we're electing not to exercise our right to do this at this time." Meaning they'll do it in the future if they think nobody will notice or care.

Disney is still just as awful of a company as ever.
