Elon Musk's Twitter Buyout Is Officially the Worst Deal Since Financial Crisis (thedailybeast.com)

Didn't he buy Twitter to not make money but to save humanity? So it should not be measured in financial terms, but humanity points that he smokes. Applauses to his investors for joining the great cause. Edit: this is a rant.

I'm curious about what % of users stayed on twitter, compared to pre elon acquisition. Also wonder if theirs more bots or less and by what metrics.

Metrics? No no sir, dead internet theory stands true. This is what it looks like behind the scenes.

Literally thousands upon thousands of farms of these things. It is indistinguishable between a bot and a human being because they use real devices and have real human beings doing the captchas and prompts etc to keep the bots movin'

Folks love to hate Elon.

I wouldn't be surprised if Elon hated himself too, at this point.

The Twitter deal is a result of that, not the cause.

People love Schadenfreude about banks.

Sounds like Musk got a brilliant deal.

haha, that's fair

Makes you wonder what the resale value is, now that he's completed the aftermarket conversion?
