if you want an arm laptop with incredible specs, incredible build quality, incredible battery life and incredible performance that runs linux what other option is there?
Yeah, the M4 is apparently the fastest CPU on single-core benchmarks. If you want a fast laptop, you have to get it. Not being forced to use Mac OS would be nice.
This is not a comparable user experience to running Linux natively for a variety of reasons, but the most obvious one is the relatively limited graphics acceleration. That's pretty important for a variety of use cases!
