Nobody can say Meta didn't try. This is what happens when you prevent companies from building nuclear because of "rare bees": https://arstechnica.com/ai/2024/11/endangered-bees-stop-meta...

Let's see how these "rare bees" fare in a future where gross overregulation and Western apathy to nuclear leads to companies giving up on clean energy entirely (solar/wind aren't stable enough.)

Meanwhile China brings more nuclear online monthly than we have in a decade. Maybe companies will simply build DCs abroad for their stable energy needs and we will see more whining about "national security!" and "lost jobs!"

If we don't fix the absolutely broken culture around building new infrastructure in the US, we are fucked.
