I can't believe so much war mongering is going on this site. So much support for perpetual war, US to become world police. A decade or so ago the sentiment was against these. Where are those people, did they change.

If nations beleive this is a just war then they should send troops to the ground. Otherwise it seems like Ukraine citizens are sent to their graves while west is again virtue signalling.

I think you misinterpret peoples sentiments. They are mostly against war. Putin started this one so if you don't like war you want to see him stopped.

And how to stop putin? Start world war 3? I see that trump is for peace deal. Then why are people against it and calling to further adding fuel? The terms can be agreed later but there should be concerned push for peace. EU calls for unconditional ceasefire everywhere they should call it when it happens in their continent as well.

> Russia didn't start the war, Russia did.

> If in March 2025, people still don’t understand that the war in Ukraine is a proxy war started by NATO, you are either biased or utterly stupid. All the documents are freely available.

I had a discussion with someone yesterday. I said Russia started the war, but his argument is completely the opposite. People actually believe this and it's getting harder to convince them otherwise.

Would it have mattered anyway? I don't know all the specific nuances and context that led to it nor understand what it may lead to.

Another one spreading Russian propaganda. Well done.

How would it be? Please constructively clarify.

The whole thing's a mess information wise. I mean the reality is complicated enough plus there are loads of false versions of everything. But it still remains that the 2022 invasion was on Putin's orders and the killing could stop tomorrow if he said to stop it.

I think there has been major astroturfing going on since 2022.

But the guys who are for world peace would comment? Are they afraid of cancel culture or getting drowned in this war madness.

Dunno. I think people don't bother argue with "consensus" in spammy high traffic threads.

Low comment count posts usually have better discussions on the topic, where every third post is not a wish to die from radiation poisoning.

People I know haven't changed much so I guess there might be some selection bias?
