I coached them to refuse and counter with a consulting contract at about 4x their prior wage (about 120% above what they could make in the private industry out the door). The idea is make them pay for the chaos they caused, and raise your baseline for when you step out into industry. And tobacoo has a lot more private-industry potential than nukes.
