This whole article could be boiled down to "it doesnt matter what you do it only matters what executives perceive you as having done".

The thing is, if in order to be successful in a big company you need to be a great salesperson and technically adept as well as organized then basically you're already a great entrepreneur. You're just a pet entrepreneur being kept on a leash.

And yes, lots of companies want pet entrepreneurs. That way all they need to bring to the table is capital.
